In Davie County we put education at the very center of our community and IGNITE DAVIE was created to give Davie County students the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school graduation, without incurring substantial student loan debt.
Students can now earn a degree or certification, providing them with the right education, skills and training to obtain a career in the modern work force. These high paying careers can be found right here in our own community, further positioning Davie County as a highly desirable place to live and work. Davie County continues to attract new business and industry, further increasing the job opportunities for us all.

Our Mission
The mission of IGNITE DAVIE is to raise the educational attainment levels of Davie County students by providing college access through tuition assistance for high school graduates.
Our Vision
The vision for IGNITE DAVIE is to spark our local economy and enhance economic mobility for future generations in Davie County. IGNITE DAVIE opens doors to educational access and success allowing all Davie students the opportunity to develop their talents and reach their potential. As a result, a well-educated and highly skilled workforce will further promote Davie County as a community of choice for families and business and industry.
They meet regularly to continue developing and administering the program and to provide oversight for the program.
