Admission is a TWO STEP PROCESS and is completed through the IGNITE DAVIE PORTAL. All Sections of the Application must be 100% complete and submitted by the posted deadlines. Submitted information will be verified to confirm eligibility.
Step 1
Apply to program through the Ignite Davie portal
Fall Term Deadline: April 15th
Spring Term Deadline: November 1st
Create a User Account in the IGNITE DAVIE Portal and Complete all sections

- NC Residency
- Apply to DDCC or Forsyth Tech
- Complete FAFSA
- Enrollment Verification
Submit Step One of Your Ignite Davie Application by the deadline.
NOTE: Only students who meet the eligibility requirements and apply to the program by the above posted deadlines will be eligible to complete STEP 2.

COMPLETE All Community College Enrollment Requirements
Fall Term Deadline: May 31st
Spring Term Deadline: December 15th
Log into your IGNITE DAVIE Portal account and complete ALL sections
Section 1:
Enrollment Requirements
- Complete new student orientation
- Meet with a DDCC or Forsyth Tech advisor
- Register for classes full time
Section 2:
Community College Information Section
Once all Sections are 100% complete, review, and submit STEP 2 of your IGNITE DAVIE Application.
NOTE: Submitted information will be verified by IGNITE DAVIE and Davidson-Davie Community College and Forsyth Tech. Students meeting all program requirements will be notified of their acceptance to the program.
HELPFUL HINT: We highly recommend students complete Step 1 and Step 2 as early as possible for confirmed admission to the IGNITE DAVIE program and the best class selection.
